Man suspected of gas station robbery in custody, police say

The owners of a Beaver Dam gas station are offering a reward for information that leads to an arrest after an armed robbery Tuesday.

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to a report of a robbery at the BP Gas Station, 1112 Madison St. in the town of Beaver Dam.

The robber wore a face mask, displayed a weapon and stole an undisclosed amount of cash. He fled on foot and was last seen headed west on Lake Crest Drive in the city of Beaver Dam.

The owners are offering a $500 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrator, officials said. The robber was about 6 feet tall and weighed about 180-200 pounds.

He was wearing dark clothing, according to the report.
