Frances Weber
FRANCES A. WEBER age 98, of Jefferson, WI passed away Saturday August 12, 2017 at Reena Senior Living in Fort Atkinson.
She was born on October 3, 1918, daughter of the late Sebastian and Esther (Cullen) Hughes. She married LeRoy R. Weber on April 18, 1942 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Albany, WI. He preceded her in death on April 5, 1992.
Frances was a Registered Nurse and had worked at the Watertown Hospital. After she and LeRoy were married she became a full-time homemaker raising their 13 children. She volunteered at the Jefferson County Court House, Fort Atkinson Memorial Hospital, the American Red Cross, St. Vincent de Paul, and was an active member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
She is survived by her family; Kathleen Weber of Scottsdale AZ, James (Peggy) Weber of Cottage Grove, Daughter-in-law Shari (John) Weber of Fort Atkinson, Thomas Weber of Gypsum CO, Mary (Earl) Woolridge of San Diego, CA, Patricia (Frank) Anfang of Helenville, William (Mary) Weber of Mequon, Barb (David) Endl of Jefferson, Ronald (Mary) Weber of Waukesha, Philip (Patricia) Weber of Fort Atkinson, Ann (Neil) Herdendorf of Jefferson, Timothy (Marcy) Weber of Janesville, Elizabeth Weber (Bob) Schemmerling of Greencastle PA, 35 grandchildren, and 46 great grandchildren with 2 more on the way. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband LeRoy and son, John Weber, brothers, and sisters.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday August 18, 2017 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with Rev. Thomas Coyle, Rev. Robert Hughes and Rev. John Urban officiating. Burial will follow in the Parish Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday evening from 4:00-7:00 p.m. with rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Jefferson, and then again on Friday morning at the church from 9:00-10:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations in Frances’s name to be given to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church’s Renovation Fund or to Tomorrow’s Hope.
