Frances “Babe” A. Weiss

Madison: Frances “Babe” Weiss, age 103, of Madison, died at her home Monday, April 30, 2012.
She was born July 14, 1908 in Merrill, the youngest daughter of Joseph and Frances (Ryan) Weiss.
She was a loving aunt to many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. Thanks to the Comfort Keepers team, including Gloria Laack, Eric Johnson, Halima Diallo, and Diane Thompson, who were very dedicated to her these last years, she was able to remain independent in her own home.
Babe is survived by nieces: Jane (David) Field, Suz Weiss, Caroline (Jim) Dawson, Martha Kneuer; nephews, Peter Weiss, Steve (Connie) Weiss; great nieces and nephews, Katzi Weiss and husband Bill Herrin , Lisa (Sean) Kenney, Tania Kneuer and husband Scott Weber, Kathryn (Blake) Bowers, Sarah Field, David Field, Philip Weiss and Daniel Weiss.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Frances Weiss; brothers, Joe, Glenn and Arch; sisters, Marie and Helen; nephew, George Weiss; and niece, Christine Roberts.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 2418 N. Sherman Avenue, with Father Roger Nilles presiding.
Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Madison.
Visitation will at the funeral home from at 10 a.m. until the time of service.
