Fox Lake rescue for missing person called off Saturday due to wind

DODGE COUNTY, Wis. — A search for a missing person whose canoe overturned on Fox Lake was called off Saturday afternoon due to high wind conditions.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the search was stopped by the dive and boat teams at about 4:30 p.m.
Officials said the windy conditions make dive operations difficult and dangerous.
A news release said searches will continue in the coming days, but the dates and times will not be shared with the public.
