Florence E Rash

JANESVILLE—Florence E. Rash, age 90, died on Monday, April 30, 2012, at Huntington Place Memory Care, Janesville.

She was born in Janesville on May 28, 1921, the daughter of Fred and Margaret (Noonan) Moore.

She graduated from Janesville High School in 1939. Florence married Clifford Rash on Nov. 15, 1943, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church Rectory, Janesville, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 1, 2000. She worked for Dongarra Title Company for 25 years, and was a charter member of St. William Catholic Church.

She is survived by her 3 sons: Wayne (Kathy) Rash of Wisconsin Rapids, James (Joyce) Rash of Mineral Point and Gary (Mary) Rash of Glen Ellyn, IL; daughter, Diane (Rick) Jones of Elkhorn; 6 grandchildren: Jeff, Scott, Joanne, John, Tim and David Rash; 10 great grandchildren; a sister, Frances Wittig of Delavan; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clifford; and a brother, Robert.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 3, 2012, at ST. WILLIAM CATHOLIC CHURCH with Rev. John Auby officiating.

A visitation will be held on Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the church.

Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY is assisting the family.
