Flags stolen, vandalized from graves of Veterans buried in Watertown cemetery
WATERTOWN, Wis. — Several flags have been damaged or stolen from the gravesides of veterans buried at Oak Hill Cemetery in Watertown.
The Watertown Police Department said it has received multiple complaints and posted about the incidents on Facebook.
American Legion Post 189 is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of anyone responsible for these acts.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Watertown Police Department at 920-261-6660. People can also report tips anonymously by texting “WTTN” to the Tip411 line, just reference Watertown PD case 2019-1386.
Oak Hill Cemetery is located at 1540 E. Main Street.
