Fitchburg man faces charge of repeated acts of child sexual assault

MADISON, Wis. — A Fitchburg man is facing charges of repeated acts of child sexual assault, Madison police said.

The Madison Police Department said 26-year-old Mister Seville Gibson was arrested Thursday night on two counts of first-degree sexual assault of a child and repeated sexual assault of a child.

Police said two teenage victims recently came forward to report the alleged sexual assaults after Gibson was charged in Dane County court for child sexual assault in a different case, which is scheduled to go to trial in January.

Police said a 15-year-old and a 16-year-old said Gibson sexually assaulted them several years ago. It wasn’t clear how old the children were during the attacks.

In all cases, the suspect was acquainted with the victims, police said.
