Fireworks show returns to Breese Stevens Field
MADISON, Wis. – As soon as the gates at Breese Stevens Field opened early Saturday evening hundreds of people, with blankets and chairs in hand, moved to secure their spot inside.
For the second year in a row the field was home to Festival Foods Lights the Isthmus, an event featuring local live musicians, food and beverages, and fireworks.
Breese Stevens Field COO Conor Caloia said since last year they learned a lot and that he hoped to go out with a bigger bang this holiday weekend.

“While the show was good last year, we’ve been able to work with the facility and the neighborhood to expand the show to make it a little bigger and a little longer,” Caloia said.
The event was ticketed but kids got in for free. Another Festival Foods fireworks show is set for Sunday night with the Madison Mallards at Warner Park.
