Fennimore falls to Coleman 45-34
Saturday at the UW Fieldhouse, Fennimore’s season came to an end in the division three team state wrestling semifinals. The Golden Eagles fell to defending state champion Coleman 45-34.
Fennimore got six wins, but three came by way of forfeit. Alston Nutter, Riley Lull, and Justin Tollefson each scored victories for the Golden Eagles.
The Cougars were just too strong. All eight of their victories came by way of pin or tech fall.
It was Fennimore’s first trip to team state.
The Golden Eagles end their season with an 18-3 record.
