Extra patrols added for spring party
JANESVILLE, Wis. — The Rock County Sheriff’s Office says it will be assigning additional deputies Saturday to patrol the annual Break in the Weather Party in Newville.
Deputies will be proactively enforcing traffic laws to deter people from drinking and driving, and foot patrols will be conducting alcohol compliance checks inside taverns to make sure no one is selling to minors.
