Evelyn M. Chroninger

Evelyn M. Chroninger, age 91, passed away on Friday, April 13, 2012. She was born February 11, 1921 to Will and Helen (Acterberg) Brandt on a farm near Merrimac. Animals, especially cats and dogs were always very special to her. Evelyn was an avid reader, enjoyed garage sales, and made many quilts for her family to enjoy. She especially loved driving her car and whenever possible, she would “fly” down the highway, music playing, and go shopping. But the best of times for Evelyn was spending time with her family and watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren having fun.

She is survived by her son, Gary (Marcella) Sawall; daughters, Judy (Jim) Frey and Janis Klaetsch; 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant daughter, two step-sisters, and son-in-law, Lester Klaetsch.

A memorial service will be held at HOOVERSON FUNERAL HOME, Sauk City, at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 18, 2012. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
