Eva Eschenbach

Eva Eschenbach, 99 of Mauston passed away at Fair View Nursing Home on March 11, 2016.

Eva was born on December 3, 1916 near Tavera in Richland County, Wisconsin to Joseph and Jenny (Hobart) Banks.

Eva worked at the Mauston Garment Factory, retiring after26 years as a seamstress. She loved camping, making quilts, crocheting and reading. She also loved playing cards and played with her card clubs until well into her 90’s.

Eva is survived by her sons Gene (Millie) Kent, Dennis (Jan) Kent, Ray (Pat) Waddell, a step daughter, Evelyn Waddell, 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren and very special friend Lorraine Schwab.

She was preceded in death by both parents, her husbands, one son Burdett, seven brothers and sisters and special friend Jeff Schwab.

Funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at the Mauston United Methodist Church, where Eva was a long time member. Relatives and friends may call from 10:30 a.m. until time of service at the church on Wednesday.

A private burial service will take place at Walnut Hill Cemetery, Baraboo, Wisconsin.
