Eugene Flower

Eugene “Chuck” Flower, age 69 of Baraboo, Wisconsin passed away peacefully Monday, August 28, 2017 at his residence.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Gathering will be held Saturday, September 2, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Square Tavern, 124 4th Avenue, Baraboo.
Chuck was born March 26, 1948 in Baraboo, the son of Gordon and Ruth (Cook) Flower. He enlisted into the military and served in the U.S. Army. Following an honorable discharge he married Mary Luszczak in September of 1972. He worked at Badger Ordnance for a while and carpentry became his primary line of work. He used his skills at his parents in law motel, Pleasant View Motel in Lake Delton with remodeling and building. Later, together with his wife, they owned and operated a pet store in Baraboo. Chuck stayed busy in retirement building bird houses. He loved fishing, hunting animals and morel mushrooms. Chuck was also an avid Packer, Badger and Brewer sports fan.
Chuck is survived by his wife, Mary; daughters, Larissa (Jason) Flower of Baraboo and Sonya Flower of Tulalip, Washington; a brother, Ronald (Inga) Flower of Stoughton, Wisconsin; a sister, Betty (Ken) Creuzer of West Allis, Wisconsin and a special friend, Mike Hall. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Donna and a granddaughter, Jasmine.
The family deeply appreciates the care given by Dr. Alissa Weber, Dr. Jeff Collins and Home Health United Hospice.
