DENVER COLORADO–Ellen Daley Kauth age 74, died on Sunday, July 2, 2017 with her husband Mike, at her side.

Ellen was born on January 11, 1943 in Columbus, WI, the daughter of Tom and Florence (Powers) Daley. She graduated from Columbus High School and received a degree in elementary education from the University Of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

Ellen taught in West Allis before marrying Mike Kauth on May 13, 1967. After marrying, Ellen and Mike moved to Oceanside, CA where Mike served as a dentist in the Navy and Ellen taught in Carlsbad, CA. After his discharge, they moved to Menomonee Falls, WI where Mike joined a private dental practice for more than 40 years.

Ellen was a teacher, an interior designer and a wonderful mother, wife, sister and friend.

Ellen is survived by her husband, Mike and son Andy (Meg) all of Denver; her daughter Amy (Tom) Brown and her two precious granddaughters, Chloe and Mica of Chicago; her two sisters Ann Ferguson of Brookfield and Susan (John) Andler of Beaver Dam; her brother Joe (Nancy) of Wauwatosa; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Ellen was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial celebration of Ellen’s life will be held on Friday, July 21, 2017 from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at ST. COLUMBKILLE CATHOLIC CHURCH, W10802 CTY RD TT Columbus, WI 53925. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow. Inurnment will be in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials be made in to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund Alliance in Ellen’s memory.

Ellen’s smile could light up a room. She was a woman of deep love and abounding spirit and she will never be forgotten by those of us who were lucky enough to know her.
