Ella M. Fuller

Ella M. Fuller, age 91, of Janesville, died Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at the Agrace HospiceCare Inpatient Center, Fitchburg. She was born in Leroy, IL, on June 3, 1920, the daughter of Fred and Frieda (Munson) Anderson, and moved to Beloit at the age of 4. Ella attended school in South Beloit until age 12. Following the death of her father she finished her education at the Odd Fellows Children’s Home in Lincoln, IL. She opened the Anderson Dress Shop with her sister in Janesville in 1942. They closed in 1948. Later that year she moved to Rockford and opened My Ladies Bridal Shop. She married William A. “Bill” Fuller, a local CPA, in 1954. He preceded her in death in 1990. She closed the Bridal Shop in 1960. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church and had been crowned Queen of Daughters of the Nile in Rockford.
She is survived by her brother, Herbert Oscar (Terry) Anderson of Ft. Pierce, FL; nieces and nephews: Sheila (Bill) Gunn of Edgerton, Fred (Linda) Anderson of Austintown, OH, John (Denise) James of New York, Herb (Debbie) Anderson Jr. of New York, Carla (Jose) Bascaran of New York, and Babe Hendrickson of Beloit; numerous other nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 2 brothers, Edmund and John Anderson; and a sister, Esther Caton.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 24, 2012, at TRINITY EPISCOPAL CHURCH, Janesville, with Fr. Robert Lebron officiating. Inurnment will be in St. Paul’s Episcopal Church Columbarium, Beloit. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at the church.
