Elizabeth “Liz” Ann Sheriff
COLUMBUS – Elizabeth Ann “Liz” Sheriff, age 61, of Columbus, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2022, at UW Hospital and Clinics. She was born on Sept. 7, 1961, in Gary, Ind., the daughter of Richard and Shirley (Deckard) McCulloch. Liz graduated from Portage (Indiana) High School in 1979. She went on to receive an associate degree in surgical technologies. Recently, Liz worked as an engraver.
Liz loved all animals, especially her German shepherd, Sundance. She enjoyed many kinds of art, including home design, music festivals, and antiquing. Liz also enjoyed gardening. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and going to Florida to spend time on the beach with her siblings.
Liz is survived by her daughters, Nicole (Al Williams) Sheriff and Candice (Jay McKee) Sheriff; sister, Jan (Michael) Hoffman; brother, James (Dawn) McCulloch; granddaughters, Josie Kaltenberg and Allyna Sheriff; grandsons, Nickellis Williams and Camden Williams; niece, April (Adam) Karls; nephews, Brett (Stacy) McCulloch and Matthew McCulloch; grandnephews and grandniece, Lukas Karls, Kylie Karls, and Banks McCulloch. She was preceded in death by her parents; and nephew, Jason Hoffman.
