Elaine C. “Buzz” Mani

Elaine C. “Buzz” Mani, age 80, passed away on Saturday, March 31, 2012, at Agrace HospiceCare, Inc. She was born on November 1, 1931, in Westport, the daughter of Louis and Esther (Therkelson) Haack. Buzz loved her cats, and collecting dolls, thimbles and bells. She enjoyed playing games, doing puzzles, and reading. She also loved garage saling with her sister.

She is survived by her children, Larry (Jean), Laura, Lou, and Lenny; two grandsons, Justin and Dion (Erin); a great-granddaughter, Aubrey Mani; her sister, Pauline (Jerry) Feisst; and a brother, Gordon Haack.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie, in December; her parents; and her brothers, Mel, Norm, and Jim Haack.

A funeral service will be held at 12 noon, on Tuesday, April 3, 2012, at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 2418 N. Sherman Avenue, with Pastor Brad Homan presiding. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Garden.
