Eileen Blanche Stuhr

Eileen Blanche Stuhr, age 81 of Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin (formerly of Mountain Home, Arkansas) went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer and liver disease.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, May 25, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church in Wisconsin Dells with Father Mike Richel and Father Arnold Reuter co-celebrating.

Eileen was born November 26, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of Henry and Blanche (Kemski) Stupay. She lived there until retiring to beautiful Mountain Home, Arkansas in 1993.

Eileen graduated from Lourdes High School in Chicago. She married her husband of 50+ years in Chicago on September 25, 1954. She worked as a secretary and also did charity work for the Community Mental Health Association for many years. Mom will always be remembered for her loving and nurturing ways, her quick wit, her wonderful sense of humor and her special talent for helping you keep on the sunny side of life. Her joy of life and her family was unwavering and inspirational for all who knew her.

Eileen is survived by her husband, John; daughters, Diane (Stephen) Solava of Wisconsin Dells and Susan Stuhr (Steven Coolidge) of Lansing, MI; son, Bradley (Dawn) of Belvidere, IL; brothers, Larry (Bea) Stupay and Jerry (Gloria) Stupay; grandchildren, Bradley (Jeanette), Kimberly (Josh), Ryan, Skye, Cady and Clayton; 4 nieces, 1 nephew and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents.
