Edward F. Suchomel Jr.

MADISON-Edward F. Suchomel, age 82, passed away on Friday, Feb. 26, 2016.

He was born on March 13, 1933, in Sun Prairie, the son of Edward and Dorothy (Blaska) Suchomel.

He married Ruth Heiman on July 2, 1953. Edward served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed family, deer hunting, country music, John Deere Tractors, pick-up trucks, farming, bowling and fishing. Edward was a longtime Redi Mix driver.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth; three children, Dennis (Karen) Suchomel, Wanda (Randy) Lund and Kathy (Steven) Beaudot; four grandchildren, Amy (Vincent) Tagliarino, Heather Lund, Heidi (Nick) Lund and Holly (Joe) Harvey; eight great-grandchildren, Stacy, Alyssa, Tyler, Brittany, Tammy, Kimberly, Franklin and Elliott; and two great-great-grandchildren; Jacob and Nicholas.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his granddaughter, Tina Brown; Private family services will be held. Burial will take place at Sacred Heart Cemetery at a later date. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.
