Verona-Edna Mary (Scally) Biederman, age 93, passed away on March 8, 2013.

She was born on October 5, 1919 to Daniel and Edna Scally in South Amboy, New Jersey. After high school she married Alfred Johnson, who died in 1973.She worked for DuPont for 36 years in the film processing division.

She married Robert G. Biederman on November 6, 1976 and moved to Jefferson WI. She was a loving mother to 4 children, grandmother to 9, great-grandmother to 16 and great-great-grandmother to 6.Edna, a devout Irish Catholic, had a love of crochet, band concerts, and all things chocolate, so much so that she was lovingly referred to as “Grandma Sweet Tooth”.

Edna is survived by her children Rosalyn (Bruce) Buelow of St. Louis, and Ruth Ann (Dale) Koebke of Verona; grandchildren Debra (Steve) Arnold, Cynthia (Mark) Fairfield, James (David Fry) Rossing, Jeffrey (Becky) Rossing, Susan (James) Wilson, Connie Biederman, Daniel Biederman, Lauren (John) Mihajlov, and Carren (Jon) Schmidt; 16 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert G. Biederman; and children Roberta Schimek and Rand Biederman.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Salvation Army, and the Society of St. Vincent de Paul in Jefferson WI.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at ST. ANDREW CATHOLIC CHURCH, 301 N. Main Street, Verona, at 10:30 a.m. with Fr. William Vernon presiding.Visitation will be held at the Church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. Burial will be held in New Jersey at a later date.
