Editorial: Vote In Tuesday’s Primary

First, we know this is going to catch some of you by surprise, but Tuesday is primary election day. That’s right, not September, Tuesday. Second, you may have to do a little reading. Following this year’s legislative redistricting you may by in a different number Assembly district with a different Representative. Check it out.

But the most important thing you need to know is that there are a fair number of races where there will be no challenger in the general election in November. So the person you vote for Tuesday will be the person who will serve in the office. And remember you have to pick a party in this election so you need to pick the races you want to vote in.

All of these are reasons why your vote is so important this election. We hope you realize that as well.
