East Madison business robbed at gunpoint, police say
Robber wore white gloves, black mask

MADISON, Wis. — An east Madison business was robbed at gunpoint Saturday afternoon, police said.
Madison police said a man entered the Check N Go at 2103 Zeier Road at 1:39 p.m. displaying a black revolver and demanding the clerk empty the register.
The robber appeared to be wearing white latex gloves, according to the report.
The clerk put an undisclosed amount of money in a white plastic bag and the robber fled the store with it, police said.
A K-9 unit track ended at a nearby business parking lot, the report said.
The robber was described as about 5 feet 9 inches tall. He was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a black mask.
