East bounces back, beats Madison Memorial

Purgolders improve to 15-1

Madison — #2 Madison East got 15 points from Jevan Boyton and scored a big bounce-back win 56-50 at Madison Memorial.

The game was tied 24-24 at half, but the Purgolders went on a 9-1 run late in the second half to put the game away.

Nick Caropreso led Memorial with 21 points.

Madison East improves to 15-1. The Spartans fall to 9-4.
