Eagles’ Kelce trades in cleats for sax
Just months after winning the Super Bowl, Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce has a new gig: saxophonist with the Philadelphia Orchestra.
WPVI reports that Kelce took the stage Tuesday night with his baritone sax, playing the Eagles fight song.
Highlights from the Eagles’ winning season played on the big screen as Kelce played.
The event benefitted the team’s autism challenge.
It wasn’t the first time Kelce rocked out off the field. The Associated Press reports he played with the Avalon String Band during a Mummers parade to celebrate Mardi Gras. The Mummers also provided Kelce with the outfit he wore during the Eagles’ championship parade.
