Driver arrested for attempting to elude officer in high speed chase

A Blue Mounds Police officer responding to a reckless driver complaint attempted to pull the driver over, but he sped and attempted to flee.

The officer saw the reckless driving behavior when he located the driver.

The driver,later identified as Juan Molina Garcia, attempted to escape but got into a minor crash before entering the construction zone near Ridgeway.

The crash ended the pursuit, Garcia was taken into custody and booked into Dane County Jail.

Garcia was charged with fleeing/attempting to elude an officer, operating without a valid license, speeding, reckless driving and having no insurance.
