Downtown resident reports attempted strong-armed robbery
Madison police seek culprit
Madison, Wis. — Madison police are investigating the report of an attempted strong-armed robbery Sunday evening on Broom Street near Main Street.
A 24-year-old male victim told police he was approached by a young man who ordered him to open his pockets. The victim ignored the order and threats and continued to his home.
The robber is described as black, 18-20 years old, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 150 to 185 pounds, with short hair and wearing clothing that was black and white.
