Double Trouble: Two Books to Read in May

Local coauthors Betsy Draine and Michael Hinden are back with another chilling tale. The Body in Bodega Bay (Terrace Books, 2014) is set on the northern California coast and involves a mysterious death, Alfred Hitchcock artifacts, angels and a husband-and-wife team set on solving the crime. And Chicago writer Patricia Skalka’s book Death Stalks Door County (Terrace Books, 2014), unfolds on the Door Peninsula, where six deaths disrupt the beautiful summer vacation destination—and the life of a homicide detective turned park ranger who wants nothing to do with the murders.
