DOT: Construction to start on Highway 14, Stagecoach Road intersection

Construction crews will start work on the intersection of Highway 14 and Stagecoach Road Monday.

The project is designed to improve safety at the intersection and includes left and right turn lanes, a marked median, and centerline and shoulder rumble strips, according to a release. The work will be done on 2.5 miles of Highway 14 between Stagecoach and Twin Valley roads.

Highway 14 will be open to through traffic during construction, but nighttime lane closures are expected.

The $1.24 million project is scheduled to be done in October.
