Dorothy M. Miller

MADISON-Dorothy M. Miller, age 80, passed away at Meriter Hospital on Friday, Jan. 8, 2016 in the presence of family and loved ones.

She was born on Jan. 23, 1935, to Fred and Minnie (Marking) Hilgendorf of Cross Plains. Dorothy was an avid sports fan of the Badgers and Packers. She enjoyed Wii Bowling and her weekly Bingo with the Westminster group. Throughout her life, family and friends were most important to her.

Dorothy is survived by her four children, Larry Bohn (Brigitte Hoff) of Stoughton, Peggy Lebeck (Trent) of Barrington, N.H., Terry Bohn (Corene) of Madison, and Robert “Bob” Bohn (Barb) of Jefferson; and good friend, Gini Black. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Dorothy is further survived by her sister, LaVonne Shipley of Middleton and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Lucille, Irene, Annamae and infant sister, Darlene; and brother, Edward.

A celebration of Dorothy’s life will be held at GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 7435 University Ave., Middleton, from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m., on Friday, Jan. 15, 2016. Burial will take place at Valley Home Cemetery at a later date.
