Donna’s puppy treats

Combine nutritious ingredients for a puppy treat your dog will love. The subtle peanut butter flavor makes it a favorite. This recipe was adapted from a treat served at Superba Food – a dog friendly restaurant in Venice, California.
1 cup crunchy peanut butter
1/4 cup honey 2 eggs 1/2 cup water
1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup dry milk powder 1 cup rolled oats (oatmeal) 1-3/4 cups flour
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Grease a cookie sheet or line it with parchment paper.
In a large mixer, combine peanut butter, honey, and eggs. Gradually add water. Add salt and dry milk power. Mix well. Add oats and mix well. Add flour and mix.
Form into small pieces of any shape. Place on a baking pan.
Bake for 20 – 40 minutes or until firm and golden brown. Do not burn.
Bake 20 minutes for a softer cookie type treat or 40 minutes for a hard chewy treat.
