Donna’s Cranberry Peach Sauce

This is a beautiful bright red flavorful sauce that can be served on the side with chicken, turkey, or pork
4 cups fresh cranberries
1/2 cup sugar 1-1/4 cups water 1 envelope (2 teaspoons) unflavored gelatin 1/3 cup Grand Marnier (orange liquor) 1/2 cup Splenda or sugar to taste 2 medium fresh peaches, peeled and diced
Wash and sort cranberries. In a large saucepan, combine cranberries, sugar, and water. Bring to a boil and continue boiling gently for 5 minutes or until cranberries have popped. In a small custard cup, combine gelatin and Grand Marnier. Stir and let sit a minute. Add to cranberry mixture. Continue to cook for 1 more minute to dissolve gelatin. Taste and add extra Splenda or sugar to suit your taste. Add peaches.
Place in a bowl, cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
