Donna’s chocolate Easter nests

Invite the Easter Bunny at your house to make your own chocolate nests. Fill it with jelly beans or your favorite candy.

1-1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

1/2 cup smooth peanut butter

3 cups chow mein noodles or crumbled shredded wheat

green colored coconut flakes

Easter candy of your choice

In a medium heavy skillet, combine chocolate chips and peanut butter. Melt over the lowest heat. Stir to mix well. Place chow mein noodles or crumbled shredded wheat in a medium bowl. Add enough of the melted chocolate mixture until mixture holds together well. Spoon onto parchment lined cookie sheets. Form into nest shapes. Refrigerate until firm.

When ready to serve, remove from refrigerator and fill with Easter candy of your choice. Serve on green colored coconut if desired
