Diane L. Theiste

MADISON-Diane L. (Krinkey) Theiste, age 56, of Madison, passed away on Friday, Aug. 18, 2017, at her home surrounded by family. She was born on Jan. 30, 1961, in Madison, Wis., the daughter of Duane and Arlene (Harry) Krinkey. She married John Theiste on Oct. 17, 1981, in Madison, Wis. Diane graduated from LaFollete High School in 1979 and attended Madison Area Technical College, graduating with a degree as a Dietetic Technician. Over the course of her career she enjoyed working with and helping many people, especially children and the elderly. Diane loved camping and bowling, participating in many leagues over the years. But her true joy was spending time with her family, friends, and especially her grandchildren. Diane lived her life with grace and a smile and will be sorely missed by all those whose lives she touched. Diane is survived by her husband; children, Cassie (Jonathon) Suess and Leslie (Eric) Roering; two grandchildren, Brock and Zoey Roering; sister, Patricia (Mike) Tolleson; two brothers, Eugene (Beth) Krinkey and Steve (Patty) Krinkey; many nieces and nephews as well as numerous other friends and relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Nancy Lien. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2017. Burial will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m., on Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2017, and also from 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday.
