Deputies uncover marijuana grow operation in Rock County

Authorities serve warrant

The Rock County Sheriff’s Department said it’s searching for the people responsible for growing nearly 20 pounds of marijuana at a house in the Town of Turtle.

Deputies served a warrant at a home at 5800 block of East Colley Road.

Investigators said they found a grow operation in the basement that included 19.3 pounds of marijuana and prepackaged drugs.

Sheriff’s officials said the marijuana plants have an estimated street value of about $20,000.
