Deputies uncover marijuana grow operation in Rock County
Authorities serve warrant
TOWN OF TURTLE, Wis. — The Rock County Sheriff’s Department said it’s searching for the people responsible for growing nearly 20 pounds of marijuana at a house in the Town of Turtle.
Deputies served a warrant at a home at 5800 block of East Colley Road.
Investigators said they found a grow operation in the basement that included 19.3 pounds of marijuana and prepackaged drugs.
Sheriff’s officials said the marijuana plants have an estimated street value of about $20,000.
