Deputies look for information on Juneau Co. sexual assault

Juneau County sheriff’s deputies are looking for information on three sexual assault incidents in the Lyndon Station area that may be connected.

On Sept. 24 around 4:45 p.m. a 17-year-old girl was jogging on Koval Road between 65th Street and Highway N when a man stopped and asked if she needed a ride, according to a release.

Deputies said when the girl told the man she did not need a ride, he got out of his vehicle, grabbed her and forced her into the back seat of his vehicle.

The man told her if she screamed or ran he would harm her, according to the release. Then he got into the vehicle and drove to an unknown wooded location.

Deputies said the man then jumped into the back seat of the vehicle and sexually assaulted the girl. Then he drove her back to where he picked her up on Koval Road and let her out.

The attacker is described as a white man in his 30s to 50s, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall and weighs between 180 and 200 pounds. His vehicle is described as a silver or tan smaller SUV.

Another female reported a similar incident to the Juneau County Sheriff’s Office last week.

She told deputies a Sport SUV crossover-type vehicle followed her home to her residence in the village of Lyndon Station Thursday night.

The vehicle eventually left and drove east on Highway 12/16, deputies said.

Another incident was reported to the Sauk County Sheriff’s Office in early September on Highway 33 east of Manmound Road, according to the release. The alleged victim refuses to cooperate with law enforcement.
