Dense Fog Advisory For Southern Wisconsin

Drivers should be extra careful this morning around southern Wisconsin due to a dense fog advisory that has been issued for southern Wisconsin until 10 a.m. Thursday.

Visibilities have been reduced to less than a 1/4 mile in some parts of the state.

The dense fog, combined with temperatures at or below freezing, could lead to frost formation on untreated roads and walks, which could make them slippery.

The weather should improve dramatically once the fog burns off, with temperatures expected in the 40s on Thursday afternoon.
