Delores Elaine Squires

Madison – Delores E. Squires, age 81, died on Thursday, January 3, 2013, at her home in Madison. She was born on September 7, 1931 in Madison, WI, the daughter of Charles and Martha (Anderson) Parks Sr. Delores was united in marriage with Robin Squires Sr. in Jeffersonville, IN. Delores spent the majority of her life being an amazing caregiver to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Delores is survived by her three daughters, Ann (Steven) Grob, Nancy Stapelmann and Kathleen (Bryan) Chapin; two sons, Robin (Marie) Squires Jr. and Bruce (Kimberly) Squires; 12 grandchildren; and 25 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson; a brother, Charlie Parks Jr.; a sister, Betty (Ellis) Martin; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a grandson, Adam Grob, a sister, Dorothy Preive and a son-in-law, Perry Stapelmann.

A funeral service will be held at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3325 E. Washington Avenue, on Monday, January 7, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Jeff Vanden Heuvel officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens in Madison. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, January 6, 2013, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
