Death investigation closes trails near town of Cross Plains

Dane County emergency crews are investigating a death in the town of Cross Plains.

Crews were sent to 8150 Old Sauk Pass Road around 10:45 a.m. Sunday for reports of a person down in the woods.

Officials said trails were closed because of an incident, which was later reported to be a suicide.
