Dean Wallace Terhall

Dean Wallace Terhall, age 84, passed away on July 6, 2017 surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Sun Prairie to Carl and Beatrice (Ryan) Terhall. He served in the Korean War and upon his return married Marlene Jungbluth on July 23, 1955. Dean worked for the Wisconsin Department of Transportation for 37 years as a Supervisor.

He coached little league for many years and was a member of the Moose Lodge and VFW Post 8483. He loved bowling, boating, reading, traveling, fishing and golf (until his children beat him).

Dean is survived by his wife of 62 years, Marlene; his children, Cheryl (Don Rebholz) Terhall, Todd Terhall, Doug (Shelby) Terhall and Tina Graser; his foster son, Mike Dornuf; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a sister, Janet Roach; and sisters-in-law, Joann Terhall and Linda Jungbluth.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Dean Jr.; brothers, Richard and Charles Terhall; and sister, Myrna “Susie” Weihert.

The family would like to thank the professional staff at Agrace HospiceCare for their exceptional care of Dean.

A celebration of life will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 2418 N. Sherman Avenue. Military honors will follow the service. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home on Wednesday.
