Dean Munz

Ronald Dean Boyd, also known as Dean Munz, 72, of Lakeland, Florida formerly of Muscoda died Wednesday, March 24, 2016 in Lakeland, Florida.

He was born in Wichita, Kansas on March 2, 1944 the son of Cyril and Luella (Taylor) Munz. Dean graduated from Lone Rock High School in 1962. He served in the US Army in Vietnam and after his honorable discharge, he attended Georgia State University. Dean sold insurance and worked in music promotion. He was an avid reader and chef.

Dean is survived by his daughter, Stephanie (Michael) Breece of Kearney, Missouri; granddaughter, Lilly Breece; sister, Janet Munz Conley (Gary Kratochwill) of Muscoda; brother, Steven (Birgit) Munz of Sycamore, Illinois; friend Russell Townsley of Lake Wales, Florida; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Dean was preceded in death by his parents Cyril and Lilly Munz.

Military graveside rites will be held at St. Kilian’s Catholic Cemetery in Bear Valley at a later date.

The Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family with their arrangements.
