David J. Rudolph

WONEWOC-David J. Rudolph, age 56, of Wonewoc, passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Agrace HospiceCare.
He was born on April 27, 1961, in Madison, the son of Robert and Catherine (Talik) Rudolph.
David graduated from Madison East High School with the class of 1979. He worked as a machinist for Addison Machine Inc.
David loved hunting, fishing, gardening, traveling, nature and everything science. He hosted family reunions for years, had a great sense of humor and was an all-around good guy.
David is survived by his mother, Cathy Thompson; sisters, Ruth Hunter and Audrey (Wade) Hauge; brother, Bob (Denise) Rudolph; significant other, Mary Lafferty; nephews, Nicholas (Breann) Bohne, Jacob (Heather) Bohne, Zach Hauge and Daryl Rudolph; nieces, Katie (Chris) Reynolds, Stacia (Steven) Schildt, Danielle (Jeremiah) Walsh, Shannon (Ryan) Jones, Grace Hauge, Christina (Caleb) Azure, Tonia Piontek, Ali Boettcher and Kaitlin Boettcher; special cousins, Cathy Haines and Lisa Weber; his loving god-mother, Bobbi Lounsbury; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert; brother-in-law, Jeff Hunter; and step-father, Troy Thompson.
Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON FITCHBURG FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 2950 Chapel Valley Rd., Madison, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 15, 2017, with Father Michael Radowicz presiding. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday. Burial will be at St. Patrick Cemetery, in Mauston, at 3 p.m. on Saturday.
