Darlene R. Frederickson

Madison-Darlene R. (McGrew) Frederickson, age 80, passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at University Hospital in Madison after a brief battle with aggressive brain cancer. She was born February 17, 1932, to John and Ruby (Wagaman) McGrew in Guthrie Center, Iowa.

She is survived by her daughters, Debra (Thomas) Jordee, and Diane Gibson, both of Madison; brother, Harold (Rose) McGrew of Delafield; sister, Wilma Louise Kellerhuis of New Glarus; and many nieces and nephews to whom she was affectionately known as “Annie”.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Carl K. Frederickson; son Richard L. Frederickson; grandson Justin Frederickson; and brothers, Willis and Maurice McGrew.

In Respect with her wishes, no memorial service will be held. Memorials may be made to the family.

The family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses of the Neuro and Palliative Care units that took care of Darlene at University Hospital in Madison.
