Daniel J Dlask

Daniel Jude Dlask was born May 14, 1944 in Mauston, WI to Victor and Mary Dlask.

Dan attended schools in Mauston and graduated from Madonna High School in 1962. He joined the U.S. Army and served a tour of duty in Viet Nam. Dan worked at several occupations before becoming an electrician eventually starting Mauston Electric and continued to work as an electrician with Festival Foods in Mauston until going to be with his Savior on May 8, 2012 at St. Clare Hospice House in Baraboo. He served on the Mauston Fire Department for 22-years retiring as a Lieutenant.

Dan was a devout Christian and was a faithful member of The Community Bible Church in Wisconsin Dells

He is survived by his son Daniel Jason Dlask and daughter Alana Mary Dlask, a brother Lyall Dlask and a sister Delores Kowalczyk, many nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many friends.

Dan was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Claude and Hugh and sisters Marie McConnell, Florence Carlig and Rosella Gagnon.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 12, 2012 at the Mauston Fire Department with Pastor Dennis Wiitanen presiding.

Burial will take place at the Mauston Cemetery with Fire Department Honors.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, May 11th at Crandall Funeral Home, Mauston and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the Mauston Fire Department.
