Dane County Humane Society offers Black Friday discounts on animal adoptions

MADISON, Wis. — Shopping is a staple on Black Friday, but if you’re looking to get away from the crowds, the Dane County Humane Society is also offering a special discount for one day only.

“People who do want to get away from the crazy Black Friday shopping to come on in, visit with some animals in need and maybe they will fall in love,” said Marissa DeGroot, the public relations coordinator for the Dane County Humane Society.

The sale lasts til 7 p.m. Friday. DeGroot said there will still be animals in need of a home after the sale ends and encourages people to bring home a new furry friend for the holidays.
