An inmate from the Dane County Jail who was released for a treatment program, but didn’t return to the jail, is back in custody, according to a release.

Marvin A. Webb, 21, of Madison, was released Tuesday morning from the Dane County Public Safety Building to attend a treatment program, officials said. He was supposed to return back to the jail at noon.

Early Wednesday morning the Dane County Sheriff’s Office said Webb had returned to the jail. The update was received just before 1 a.m.

While deputies were checking on Webb’s whereabouts they learned that he did not attend the treatment program, according to the release.

Webb is serving a sentence for several charges including theft, criminal damage to property, disorderly conduct and resisting and obstructing, officials said. He was sentenced to jail with Huber privileges.
