Dakota R. Giese

Dakota R. Giese (Coty), age 21, passed away on July 25, 2017. He was born on November 25th, 1995, in Janesville, WI.

He is the son of Helen (Jayson) Russell and Ryan (Brenda) Giese. Dakota enjoyed family events, video games, hunting, music, hiking, hanging with friends, and most of all his daughter.

He is survived by his fiance, Sidney Kranig; and daughter, Kinsley Giese; his grandparents, Connie (Frank) Boone, Wally (Judy) Giese, Carol Ann Wainwright; siblings, Amber (Joey) Fogderud, Brandon Russell, Casandra (Adam) McCaig, Christian Pope, Angie (Jasper) Rummelhoff, Taneah (Gabe) Bruce, Jimmy (Kara) Casey, Misty (Mike) Casey, Seth (Ariel) Casey; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Due to circumstances, A Celebration of Life will be held two days before the funeral services at Riders In on Saturday, July 29, 2017 from 3pm to close. Visitation will be on Monday, July 31, 2017, from 10am – 12pm followed by the Memorial Service from 12pm – 1pm at SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY. The burial will be a private ceremony with family at a later time.

The family would like to thank the Janesville Police and Fire Departments, Rock County Sheriff’s
Office, DNR, Biker’s in Chains, and the many volunteers who helped in the search for Dakota.
