Customers ordered to lie on floor during restaurant robbery

Customers at a fast-food restaurant were ordered to lie on the floor during an armed robbery early Monday morning, according to a release from Madison police.
Officers were called to Burger King at 6909 Odana Road at 12:06 a.m. after a gunman entered the restaurant. Employees said the man threatened to kill them if he didn’t get all the restaurant’s money. He fled with cash and the manager’s cellphone, police said.
The robber is described as black, 20-25 years old, 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighing 140 pounds. He was wearing a black ski mask over his nose and mouth, a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants.
