Crews respond to rollover crash on I-90

A crash on Interstate 90 Friday afternoon closed two lanes of traffic for about an hour but backed up traffic for miles, officials said.

Dane County dispatch confirmed that crews were sent to a rollover crash on westbound I-90 and mile marker 141 just before 1 p.m.

The Department of Transportation said in an alert at 3:44 p.m. that the crash was cleared and all lanes of traffic and the shoulder were open.

State traffic cameras showed vehicles were still backed up and moving slowly on that stretch of I-90 at about 3:45 p.m.
