Crazylegs will close, delay many downtown streets

Traffic will not be able to cross Wisconsin Avenue, State Street for 1.5 hours

MADISON, Wis. — The Crazylegs Classic Run/Walk will close many downtown streets this Saturday morning, city officials said.

Traffic will not be able to cross Wisconsin Avenue or State Street at any intersection from 9:45-11:15 a.m., according to a release. Major streets that will also be affected include Gorham, Johnson and Dayton streets.

City officials have mapped out traffic routes that through traffic should follow.

Officials encourage people traveling downtown before noon to allow extra time.
